Lancastria Service of Remembrance

The Memorial Service
Lloyd's Choir has been honoured to participate for many years at the annual Service of Remembrance of the sinking of HMT Lancastria. This year's service marks the 85th anniversary of the tragedy. Among other music, we will be performing a choral version of Jacques Cohen's Lancastria, a lovely setting of Tennyson's Crossing the Bar, specially written to commemorate this anniversary.
