JACQUES COHEN

Musical Director

Jacques Cohen has been Musical Director at Lloyds Choir since 1995, and under his direction the choir has developed a great deal, performing repertoire ranging from Renaissance motets to the many new pieces written and arranged for the choir by Jacques and others. Jacques' annual carol arrangement is an eagerly awaited feature of the choir's Christmas concerts!
Known equally as a conductor and composer, Jacques has worked with the BBC Concert Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Bucharest Philharmonic and countless other groups in the UK and abroad. His compositions have been performed internationally by Yehudi Menuhin Orchestra, Sofia Soloists and Primrose Piano Quartet among many others.
